Khi nói, chúng ta thường sử dụng từ viết tắt. Chúng ta thường làm ngắn gọn từ khi chúng ta viết tin nhắn (SMS). Dưới đây là một số chỉ dẫn hữu ích về một số các từ viết tắt thông dụng nhất trong tiếng Anh mà mình sưu tầm đc:

Văn nói

gonna = is / am going to (do something)
"I'm gonna call him now." - Tôi định gọi anh ấy bây giờ

wanna = want to
"I wanna speak to you." - Tôi muốn nói chuyện với bạn

gotta = has / have got to (or have got)
"I gotta go!" - Tôi phải đi

innit = isn't it
"It's cold, innit?" - Trời lạnh có phải không?

ain't = isn't / haven't / hasn't
"He ain't finished yet." - Anh ấy vẫn chưa làm xong.
"I ain't seen him today." -Tôi vẫn chưa gặp anh ấy hôm nay.
